How long have you been in business?
High Point Christian Academy was founded in 1996 by Green Street Baptist Church to serve the families throughout our community with excellence in academics through a Biblical worldview. Our student body and faculty now represent over 100 churches in the area!
What is your primary product or service?
Preschool - 12th grade college preparatory academics
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Green Street Baptist Church wanted to serve the families of High Point and surrounding areas with a quality level of education grounded in a Christian perspective. The mission was to provide Christ-centered, quality education and academic excellence in partnership with family and church within a loving, caring atmosphere.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We first of all are Christ-centered. Secondly, we attain a high level of academic excellence, providing an award-winning fine arts experience as well as a competitive athletic program. Thirdly, we are smaller than many schools, allowing us to provide a more effective teacher-student ratio and a close school family, supporting the loving, caring atmosphere of our classrooms.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
High Point Christian Academy is located on the corner of Rotary and Phillips in High Point, with the Preschool in one wing and the K-8 division in another wing of the the facility. Our High School is located across the parking lot in a separate building.

High Point Christian Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational institution, comprising a Head of School and School Board of Directors. Two principals oversee the operations of the K-8 and the 9-12 school day.
What are your hours of operation?
Preschool 7:45 am - 12:00 Noon, with afterschool care until 6:00 p.m. K-12th 8:00 - 3:00 with afterschool care until 6:00 p.m. (staggered dismissals to the school day, with K dismissing at 2:45, 1st grade at 2:20, etc.)
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That the work of our school honors and exalts Christ.

One guiding principle for HPCA is the meaning of Kingdom Education: "Kingdom Education is leading a student to Christ, building the student up in Christ, and equipping the student to serve Christ."
